We
will
be commencing
Charters
in
2010.
Regrettably there has been a major delay by the boat builder due to
unforeseen circumstances. Yes, we are upset but there is little we can do! I
have just visited the factory in Cornwall during November 2008 and work is
progressing SLOWLY. I am told the vessel will be ready for transportation for
April 2010. We will see!
The hull of the vessel and superstructure are bonded together. The process of
fitting out the vessel, installing the engines and stern gear are now under way.
One engine was in place during my visit. All of the structural work is
completed.
Please watch this space for an update. Please do not call or leave email
messages for bookings charters until you see an update that our vessel has
arrived and is ready for charter.
When the vessel arrives we still have to add the electronics package, install a
generator, fit out the bathroom, install outriggers & a fighting chair etc.
Many
thanks........Capt. Tony Allen.
PLEASE NOTE: The
pictures featured below are of a sister ship pictured in Padstow Harbour,
Cornwall, United Kingdom in 2006.

"Electric Blue 111"
will operate from DON'S DOCK, JOHNS PASS, MADEIRA BEACH, FLORIDA.
She
is a Powerglide 40 Port Isaac Catamaran Sportsfisher powered by 2 x 400HP IVECO
Diesel Engines which
gives the vessel a cruise speed of 26 knots and a top speed of 32 knots. Our
vessel will have a range of just over 700 miles!
We also carry
100 gallons of water which can
also be heated via a 11 gallon calorifier for hot water or even a shower! If it's a hot
day you can relax in our 16,000 Btu air conditioned saloon, that's of course if you do no
suffer from "Mal de Mer". Otherwise the Flybridge may be the place for you?
Whilst in our galley you will notice the vessel has a heated electrical hotplate,
oven, microwave,
refrigerator/freezer and a automatic coffee maker. We also have a beautiful
bathroom and berths.
The vessel is also equipped with a
shore power connection when at the dock.
